 For over 30 years our President, Dennis Harrington, has continued the tradition of Fine Custom Home Building in Eastern North Carolina, started by his father, well known builder Ollie A. Harrington. Dennis' building career began after finishing college at East Carolina University in 1971 and then serving a six year commitment in the United States Air Force as an instructor pilot. After being discharged from the Air Force in the fall of 1977, Dennis joined his Father's company and started his training as a custom builder.
Over the ensuing years Dennis Harrington used the knowledge and the principles he learned from his father to build a reputation as an excellent custom builder in his own right. He became known for his insistence on precision construction, attention to detail, daily involvement on every project, uncompromising quality in workmanship and materials, and complete customer satisfaction.
Harrington Built Homes was organized to reflect Dennis Harrington's desire to continue the tradition of providing our customers with superior quality construction, customer satisfaction, and real value.
